BRUNEL UNIVERSITY LONDON
Established in 1966, Brunel University London is located in West London’s Uxbridge town. It is a public research university that was named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a Victorian engineer. In August 2014, the university was organized into three major research institutes and three colleges after which the official name became Brunel University London.
Brunel University London campus has several academic buildings as well as accommodations. The academic buildings include Elliott Jaques which houses Brunel Law School, Joseph Lowe which is the Civil Engineering Research Centre, the Lecture Centre, Heinz Wolff with facilities, and offices for College of Health and Life Sciences, and many others. UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH
The University of Greenwich is a public university located in London and Kent, United Kingdom. Previous names include Woolwich Polytechnic and Thames Polytechnic.
The university’s main campus is at the Old Royal Naval College, which along with its Avery Hill Campus, is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Greenwich also has a satellite campus in Medway, Kent, as part of a shared campus. The university’s range of subjects includes architecture, business, computing, mathematics, education, engineering, humanities, maritime studies, natural sciences, pharmacy and social sciences. Greenwich’s alumni include two Nobel laureates. Abertay University was established as the Dundee Technical Institute in 1888 in Dundee. On August 17th, 1994, it officially became the University of Abertay Dundee. Notably, the university has been promoting itself by its current name since 2014.
Situated in the Dundee city center, the Abertay University campus features excellent infrastructure and offers several modern amenities. It is conveniently located near the city’s main bus and train stations. The campus consists of several academic, recreational, and administrative buildings including Kydd Building, Old College, Hannah Maclure Centre, and Students Centre. All these buildings are grouped around the Bernard King Library in the Bell Street Complex. The four major academic buildings, namely Kydd building, Graham Building, Baxter Building, and Old College building feature spacious classrooms, laboratories, and study areas. The campus offers excellent residential and dining facilities too. Also, it is home to 13 sports clubs supporting more than 23 social and competitive teams.
